|McCartney Satterwhite is a lifelong music enthusiast. From a very early age, she was involved in musical theater, community choirs, and dreamed of being a Disney princess (she still does…). Since then, she’s stayed heavily involved in music and theatrical programs, both in school and in the community. She has been in productions such as “Annie,” “The Sound of Music,” “Lost Socks,” “Passing Go!,” and “A Little Princess”. In high school, She was a member of the all-region choir and band for four years, and afterwards attended Panola College in Carthage, Texas on a music scholarship. She was in four different musical groups, chorale, show choir, chamber singers, and band, and was elected section leader for the Texas All State Choir in San Antonio for two years. When she isn’t singing in the shower, she likes to snuggle up with her dog, read the newest John Green book, or catch a few Pokemon. McCartney is excited to be a part of the Headliners team, and looks forward to not only teaching her students in all styles of music, but also to learning from them as well.
